Letter of Dissolution

August 1, 2025

Dear Client,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to officially confirm the dissolution of the Supervised Services Program at Renew Therapy, LLC, effective August 31, 2025. After careful consideration, I have decided to transition our services to better align with the evolving needs of our clientele.

As a valued client, it is important to notify you of the following changes:

  • Julius Page will continue working as a therapist with Renew Therapy at $50 per hour until August 2026.

  • All other therapists will transition to other service providers by August 31, 2025 unless otherwise agreed upon with their clients. You are welcome to follow your therapist to other organizations if that option is available.

  • During this transition, you are encouraged to discuss your preferences and concerns with your therapist to ensure a smooth transition or discharge from services. For those with insurance, please inquire about additional options available.

  • If you would like additional low cost and free therapy resources as supplemental services during this transition, please visit RenewTherapyGA.com/blog/does-free-therapy-exist to explore your options.

It has been a pleasure to serve you through the Supervised Services Program. Thank you for your understanding, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Warm regards,

Praysha Spearman, LMFT

Cons:

Tips for utilizing the Supervised Services program:

  1. Even if it takes more than 3 months to get on a therapist’s schedule, still go for it. Those three months, even 6 months, will fly by and you may not find a better option financially speaking. You can always cancel your session later if you decide to go a different route.

  2. If it feels like you have to fill out tons of paperwork, remind yourself why you are doing it. You are investing time and energy into yourself that will absolutely produce worthy results.

  3. If you don’t like your therapist for any reason at all, tell your therapist upfront why you’re having resistance. Ask if there are options for changing the style of therapy, or for seeing a different therapist. Most therapists have encountered this before, and won’t be surprised when you give this kind of feedback. All therapists are trained to help you get connected with the best kind of therapist available for your needs and preferences.

  4. Be willing to educate your therapist about your unique situation if necessary. Most therapists will ask the questions they need answered to help you, but some may not realize how your personal experience is different than others. Therapy is a collaboration at best, so come willing to put in the work!
